The Nexon has defined Tata Motor’s sales rise in India. Since 2020, its sales have skyrocketed. Major credit goes to Tata Motors for building such a product and then keeping it fresh by giving it regular updates. Another good thing Tata has done is bringing the EV variant of the Nexon. The Nexon EV is the best selling electric car in India, and its sales are expected to increase further with the introduction of the Nexon EV Max. In today’s article, we will talk about how Nexon EV sales will increase in the future.
Nexon EV Max Launch
This week, Tata launched the long-anticipated Nexon EV Max. The Max is the long-range version of the Nexon EV. So now it comes with a 40.5kWh battery pack giving it a claimed range of 437km. Tata is giving it two charging options- a normal 3.3kWh charger and a fast 7.2kWh option for an extra cost. Tata has also added a lot of new features to Nexon EV Max like electronic parking brake with auto hold, drive modes, air purifier, cruise control, wireless charging, auto-dimming IRVM, gear-selector with display and ventilated seats.
How will sales increase?
The Nexon EV Max is a good choice for people looking for an EV with a good range and added features. People looking for only city driving and less range can still choose the normal Nexon EV at a lower price. So, Tata will profit from sales of both the variants. Then we also have the high sales of the ICE-powered Nexon. So can the Nexon cross the 14,000 sales mark in the coming months? There are high chances for this to happen, since Tata sold 13,471 units of Nexon in April.
